Cocoa Peanut Butter Truffle Brownies

These won't last a a day! But if there are any leftovers you can freeze them for a quick treat on another day.

ingredients-

1 boxTraditional Fudge Brownie Mix
¼ cupOil
¼ cupWater
1Large Egg

.

Peanut Butter Cocoa Truffle-
½ cupButter, softened

¾ cupCreamy Peanut Butter

1 cupPowdered Sugar

¼ cupUnsweetened Cocoa Powder

.

Ganache-
2 TbspLight Cream
1½ cupsChocolate Chips & Peanut Butter Chips, mixed

.

Topping-
¼ cup1/2 cup Each- Peanut Butter Chips, chocolate chips, and finely chopped peanuts

Directions-

Butter bottom only of 9x9x2" glass baking dish; preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix brownie ingredients as directed on box and bake.
Cream butter in mixer bowl on medium speed until fluffy. Add peanut butter; mix thoroughly. Gradually add powdered sugar and cocoa powder; beat about 5 minutes until light and creamy. Set aside. After brownies have cooled on rack, spread peanut butter truffle filling on top, covering completely. In small saucepan combine the cream and chips; stir constantly on low heat until very smooth and completely melted. Cool about 30 min in refrigerator (you could also do this step while brownies are baking). Spread over peanut butter truffle layer and sprinkle remaining chocolate/peanut butter chips on top. **Note - For the picture I forgot to add the peanuts. You can add or not -- they taste great either way!
Helpful Tips:
I found bags of Nestle mixed peanut butter chips and chocolate chips combined; great to use so you won't have to buy a bag of each flavor.
