Perffect anytime- weeknight, busy weekends, Gameday or parties.
Ingredients-
4-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 Cups Buffalo Chicken Wing Sauce, divided
2 Tbsp Butter, cubed
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 onion, sliced thinly
1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
6-8 crusty hoagie rolls
directions-
Turn crock pot on high and layer in onions, chicken, butter, 1 cup of the wing sauce and seasonings. Cook on high 4 hours. Take chicken out and shred and add back to crock pot. Mix in cheeses and stir, add the additional cup of wing sauce and stir. Cook another 20-30 min on low with lid off.
This makes enough for 6-8 sandwiches. Top with additional shredded cheddar cheese if desired. Leftovers are also great to top a pizza!
Note- My current go-to Wing Sauce is Curlyfied Wing Sauce in Medium, it packs a punch and is delicious!
